Gentle Yoga + Sound Fusion

Ideal for beginners, those returning after experiencing injury and those age 50 and beyond. This practice was created to add healing and toning qualities of yoga to your life. We start with guided warm up stretches and move into simple sitting and standing poses to loosen the joints, promote good posture and balance. Breathing exercises and relaxation promotes calmness between poses and at the conclusion of practice. Students are helped according to their needs. The class ends with a longer relaxation with alchemy crystal singing bowls to assist with relaxation and healing.

Hatha-Raja Yoga

Hatha yoga and Raja yoga. Hatha yoga focuses on the well-being of the physical body and includes all the asanas. Asanas improve flexibility and posture, immunity, improves physical strength. Raja yoga helps to get inner peace, meditation, relief from stress which is the biggest problems in today’s life. When clubbed together, Hatha yoga + Raja yoga give an overall benefit.

Hatha-Raja I

This class deepens pranayama (breathing) and meditation techniques. This is the beginning level of the dharma yoga series. Students will practice and be introduced to dharma yoga shiva namaskar vinyasa level 1 to warm up the body , bring flexibility  to all muscles and joints, and wake up the nervous system. A gentle yet powerful series of balancing, stretching, back bending, twisting and mild inverted postures will follow. This practice ends with deep relaxation, breathing exercises, and concentration/meditation to remove impurities and bring a sense of well -being to the body and radiant peace of mind.

Aqua Breath Work and Deep Stretching

This warm water class will use the power of breath, stretch and yoga to open, massage and relax the full body and mind. Breath work is best known for its benefits to help boost your mood, deepen relaxation, improve focus, promote quality sleep and reduce symptoms of stress and anxiety. Pool’ates is a low impact aquatic exercise performing gentle stretching. This Pilates inspired aqua class helps you develop strength, improve balance, tone and increase range of motion with little to no impact on joints especially knees, hips, and ankles. This is a beginner class, and no stretching or exercises experience is needed.

In this fun, supportive class, you will start where you are comfortable using supports and adaptive techniques to explore and learn a variety of workouts that engage your whole body, helping you to feel stronger and more energized. We’ll incorporate bodyweight exercises, light cardio, stretching and breath-work to help you get and stay strong.  Plus, you’ll be surrounded by a community of like-minded folks who are all on their own fitness journeys, cheering you on every step of the way!
